ACS Committee on Public Relations and Communications

The ACS Committee on Public Relations and Communications is a Joint Board-Council committee charged with advising the Office of Communications of the ACS and with addressing the presentation of chemistry through the public media. It meets twice per year (a February weekend and a half-day at the Fall meeting).

Chemistry in Action: It's Easy Being Green! (Video file)

The ACS Office of Communications invites you to see your fellow members in action. More than 100 children from the Chicagoland area joined ACS President Katie Hunt and a cast of members and student affiliates in a Kids & Chemistry event. This event was held in conjunction with the 234th ACS national meeting and it featured hands-on experiments in green chemistry.

This video was produced for ACS-TV by the ACS Office of Communications and originally aired in hotel rooms during the Chicago national meeting.
