ACS Community Recognition Grants
The American Chemical Society recognizes activities at the community level and provides grants to support programs that advance the public’s understanding of chemistry.

- “Bridging the Gap” Nano-Grant
Apply for a $250 “Bridging the Gap” Nano-Grant to help your local section host a welcoming event for ACS Student Members.
- Local Section Sustainability Programming Grant
Grants of up to $500 are available on a rolling basis throughout 2009 to enable sustainability related programming during the 2009-10 programming cycle.
- Local Section Leadership Development Mini-Grant
The Local Section Leadership Development Mini-Grant provides funding to encourage local sections to host one or more courses from the ACS Leadership Development System in their section or during an ACS regional meeting where the local section is actively engaged in the planning process.
- Local Section Innovative Project Grant
The Local Section Innovation Project encourages local sections to conceive of and implement innovative projects.
- Student Chapter Grant
Active ACS Student chapters are eligible for grants to support activities, projects and events.
- Diversity Grant
- Science Café Mini-Grant
Science Café grants offer financial aid to local sections who wish to organize an informal and inclusive conversation about a scientific theme for the local non-scientific community.
