ACS Approval Program for Bachelor’s Degree Programs
Free Certificates for Graduating Chemistry Majors
Department chairs may request certificates for chemistry majors who receive a baccalaureate degree from an ACS-approved program and complete the course work described in the ACS Guidelines. Email student names, the number of certificates needed, and the date they are required to cpt@acs.org.
ACS promotes excellence in chemistry education for undergraduate students through approval of baccalaureate chemistry programs. ACS-approved programs offer a broad-based and rigorous chemistry education that gives students intellectual, experimental, and communication skills to become effective scientific professionals.
