Student Award

To enhance student participation, the Division of Petroleum Chemistry established a student awards program. Two awards are presented each year—one at each ACS National Meeting

Recipients receive:

• Cash prize of $500
• Certificate signed by the Chairs of the Division and the Student Awards Committee
• Complimentary ticket to the Division Social event jointly organized by the Fuel and Petroleum Chemistry Divisions.

All graduate and undergraduate students submitting and presenting a paper in any of the Division symposia (including those co- and jointly-sponsored by the Division) at ACS National Meetings are eligible for these awards. To be eligible, the student must be the presenting author. The award is presented without regard to nationality, affiliation, age, or gender.
