Travel Awards for Outstanding Undergraduate Students in Organic Chemistry

Purpose - recognize outstanding undergraduate students in organic chemistry

Eligibility - must be a junior, have engaged in fulltime research for at least 1 summer, have the intent to enter graduate school in chemistry, preference given to those students who plan to present a poster or paper at a meeting, limit of 1 award per institution.


Graduate Fellowships of Third and Fourth Year Graduate Students

Purpose - provide support for graduate students during their 3rd or 4th yr of study

Eligibility - must be graduate student in 3rd or 4th yr.


Paul G. Gassman Distinguished Service Award

Purpose - recognize outstanding service to the organic chemistry community

Eligibility - must be long-standing ORGN and ACS member who through contributions to the organic chemical community in the US have significantly enhanced the welfare of its members.


Edward Leete Award for Outstanding Contributions to Teaching and Research in Organic Chemistry

Purpose - recognize outstanding contributions to teaching and research in organic chemistry

Eligibility - no restrictions.


Technical Achievements in Organic Chemistry Award Program

Purpose - recognize the achievements of non-PhD chemists

Eligibility - present recent discoveries in basic or developmental research and increase the involvement of bachelor and master level chemists in divisional activities, based on creativity and publication and patent record.
