Purpose - recognize an outstanding career of contributions to the history of chemistry

Eligibility - international in scope, and is presented annually at the fall ACS national meeting.

Outstanding Paper Award

Purpose - recognize and encourage outstanding scholarship in the history of chemistry

Eligibility - presented to the author of the best paper published in the Bulletin for the History of Chemistry during the previous three years.

Citations for Chemical Breakthroughs

Purpose - recognize breakthrough publications and patents worldwide in the field of chemistry

Certificates of Appreciation

Purpose - recognize individuals and organizations for very special contributions to the field of history of chemistry or to the Division of the History of Chemistry
