Distinguished Service Award

Purpose - recognize outstanding contributions and service to FUEL

Eligibility - limited to individuals who have been FUEL members for at least 10 yr and who have had a significant and continued impact on the advancement of fuel chemistry through research, teaching, service, or a combination of the 3 over time, granted without regard to age, sex, or nationality. Past Chair, Chair, Chair-Elect, Secretary, and Treasurer are ineligible in the award year or 2 prior yrs.


Henry H. Storch Award in Fuel Chemistry

Purpose - recognize distinguished contributions to fundamental or engineering research on the chemistry and utilization of all hydrocarbon fuels, with the exception of petroleum

Eligibility - made an outstanding contribution to research in the field of fuel science, special consideration will be given to innovation and novelty in the use of fuels, characterization of fuels, and advances in fuel chemistry that benefit the public welfare or the environment.


R.C. Glenn Award

Purpose - recognize outstanding papers presented at FUEL symposia

Eligibility - all papers presented at FUEL symposia are eligible.
