Victor K. LaMer Award for Graduate Research in Colloid and Surface Chemistry

Purpose - reward outstanding graduate research in colloid and surface chemistry

Eligibility - for an outstanding Ph.D. thesis accepted by a U.S. or Canadian university during the three-year period prior to August 31 of the year in which the presentaiton is made.

Cognis Corporation Graduate Research Fellowship in Colloid and Surface Chemistry

Purpose - support outstanding graduate students during their final 2 yr (preferably 3rd and 4th yr) of doctoral thesis research

Eligibility - research must represent a significant advance in understanding fundamental chemical and physical processes in interfacial systems, must be enrolled in a full-time graduate program leading to a Ph.D. at an accredited US university.

Student Poster Contest

Purpose - recognize outstanding student poster presentations at an ACS national meeting

Eligibility - undergraduate and graduate students.
