Award in Chemical Instrumentation

Purpose - recognize and encourage achievement in the origination or improvement of analytical methods of instrumentation.

Eligibility - must be an ANYL member and must have made original and eminent contributions to chemical instrumentation


Award in Electrochemistry

Purpose - recognizes an individual who through scholarly activity has definitely and uniquely advanced the field of electrochemistry.

Eligibility - no restrictions


Award in Spectrochemical Analysis

Purpose - recognizes an individual who through scholarly activity has definitely and uniquely advanced the field of spectrochemical analysis and optical spectrometry.

Eligibility - no restrictions


Pfizer Graduate Travel Awards in Analytical Chemistry

Purpose - provide funding for graduate students to travel to an ACS national meeting and to present a poster.

Eligibility - only US citizens and permanent residents are eligible, preference given to those who have not made a previous presentation at a national scientific meeting.


I. M. Kolthoff Enrichment Awards for Undergraduate Students

Purpose - encourage talented chemistry undergraduate students to pursue further studies in analytical chemistry.

Eligibility - only US citizens and permanent residents are eligible, preference given to those who have not made a previous presentation at a national scientific meeting, prior recipients are not eligible.


Arthur F. Findeis Award for Achievements by a Young Analytical Scientist

Purpose - recognize and encourage outstanding contributions to the fields of analytical chemistry by a young analytical scientist.

Eligibility - must have earned highest degree within ten years of January 1 of the year of the award, nationality and arena in which the contributions made are unrestricted.


J. Calvin Giddings Award for Excellence in Education

Purpose - recognize the enhancement of the personal and professional development of students in the study of analytical chemistry.

Eligibility - no restrictions.


Award for Distinguished Service in the Advancement of Analytical Chemistry

Purpose - recognize an individual who through professional service in activities such as teaching, writing, research, and administration has substantially and uniquely enhanced the field of analytical chemistry.

Eligibility - restricted to individuals whose contributions have not been specifically recognized by another ANYL award.
