ACS Career Fair

The American Chemical Society (ACS), the world’s largest scientific society with more than 154,000 members, provides opportunities for employers to recruit top scientific talent online and onsite at the ACS Career Fair during the 239th ACS National Meeting in San Francisco, CA. The Career Fair is the premier place where employers can promote their company and meet job seekers face-to-face to discuss employment opportunities; job seekers can attend a variety of workshops, participate in mock interviews, and make appointments for individual resume reviews.

The Career Fair will be located in the West Hall, Level One of the Moscone Convention Center, Sunday, March 21 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., and on Wednesday, March 24 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Registration will begin on January 5, 2010.

Employer Information

Follow these simple steps to participate in the ACS Career Fair:

  1. Log into your account. (New users will need to create an account.) Activate the link to purchase a package.
  2. Post your jobs
  3. Search the job seeker resumes and schedule interviews
  4. Check your account for messages from job seekers and schedule interviews

Job Seeker Information

All job seekers must be registered for the ACS National Meeting. Follow these simple steps to participate in the ACS Career Fair:

  1. Log into your account. (New users will need to create an account.) Activate the link to attend.
  2. Upload your resume
  3. Search and apply for jobs
  4. Check your account regularly for appointments

Members who have had their membership status changed to receive a 2010 unemployment dues waiver and enter their membership number during registration are eligible for a waiver on registration fees for the national meeting.
