Special List Request
ACS offers each local section the opportunity to purchase mailing lists, delivered on lists or electronically, which may be used for Society-related purposes. There are two options for purchasing lists:
1. Special List Request
ACS provides special request lists that can be ordered throughout the year. With this option, you may request more detailed selection criteria for the lists.
To order specialized lists, please contact Pinchao Yen at (202) 872-6301 or make your request via e-mail at p_yen@acs.org. Allow a minimum of 10 business days for these lists to be produced and 3-5 days for the list(s) to be shipped to you.
2. Election Only List Request
Although eRosters of a local section’s current membership are provided monthly to local section officers, “Election Only” lists must be used for the mailing of ballots. Local section bylaws, which differ from section to section, specify how much lead time before an election to allow when requesting election only lists.
Why Do I Need to Order Election Only Lists?
- Not every person whose name appears on the eRoster is eligible to vote because some persons have not paid their dues, or are Student Affiliates, etc.
- Some names that do not appear on the monthly eRoster may be eligible to vote because certain members have requested that their names be removed from promotional mailings.

Election Only List Pricing
- Invoices are per list
- Lists cost l.5¢ per name for pressure sensitive lists, with a minimum charge of $25 for each list plus shipping
- Comma delimited or TAB delimited text files are 1¢ per name, sent via e-mail or FTP at no charge
