As part of every CCED celebration, ACS sponsors a contest for students in Kindergarten – 12th grade. Like last year, the 2013 contest is an illustrated poem contest. All illustrated poems must first be judged at the local level in order to be considered for the national contest. Please contact your CCED Coordinator for local contest deadlines. You can view the CCED Illustrated Poem Contest archive.

Be sure your event has the proper ACS insurance coverage for liability issues. Photo-release forms are essential if you would like to take photos, use them in publications, or future advertisements. When planning your outreach event at a public venue such as a library or school, be sure to request whether they would be interested in hosting your event.

Send an email to outreach@acs.org to receive a unique survey link for your event. If computer access at your event is not available, use this paper survey.
