The ICSC in Saudi Arabia sponsors monthly dinner meetings featuring guest speakers. Chapter members also organize and co-organize regional meetings, including the 7th International Conference and Exhibition on Chemistry in Industry (CHEMINDIX 2007), held in Bahrain in March 2007.
The Saudi Arabia ICSC promotes chemistry in the community by running chemistry shows in area schools and exhibiting at Saudi Aramco’s Fall Fair and Earth Day celebrations.
With a theme of “Innovative Technologies for Tomorrow’s Energy Demand”, the 8th International Conference & Exhibition on Chemistry in Industry (CHEMINDIX 2010) will take place October 18-20 at the Gulf International Convention Center, Gulf Hotel, Bahrain.
