National Chemistry Week Community Event
Canned Food Drive
Each year, an event is chosen to unite ACS members across the country in a common outreach effort.
For NCW 2009, we invite you to collect canned food (cans are made of recyclable elements!) or organize a canned food drive in conjunction with your National Chemistry Week Event. Collections can be donated to your local food bank. We encourage you to record how many pounds, boxes, or barrels you filled for those in need and to publicize the success of your drive!
