Booth Specifications for 2010 Expositions

Standard Booths

All booths at the ACS National Expositions are (10' x 10') spaces, unless otherwise noted on the floor plan at time of booth selection. Each in-line booth costs $2,500, and each corner booth costs $2,500, unless otherwise noted. Your booth fee includes the following services:

  • Draped 10'X10' exhibit space with 8' high back drape and 3' high side drapes in show colors
  • Standard 7''X44'' two-line company identification sign with the company name and booth number
  • General overhead illumination inside the exposition hall
  • 24-hour guard service securing entry into the exposition area
  • Five (5) free exhibitor registration badges per 10'X10' booth. For exhibitors sharing booth space, the number of registrations will be set by the ACS Booth Sharing Policies. Additional badges that are over your allotment will be available for a fee equal to the one day registration fee.
  • One (1) free technical session pass per 10'X10' booth that can be used to attend technical symposia
  • Free Expo-Only Guest Passes for your marketing campaign to invite your clients to visit you at the show
  • Free corporate listing in the ACS meeting programs in print and on-line, if submitted by the specified deadline
  • Free corporate listing in the on-line ACS Exhibitor Directory for three months before and after the show
  • Exclusive sponsorship opportunities and right to host an exhibitor workshop and special event session that are only available to current exhibitors
  • Value-added advertising opportunities at the show and inside ACS publications that are only offered to current exhibitors
  • Comprehensive Exhibitor Service Kit in electronic format
  • Free copies of the ACS meeting program at the show

First-Time Exhibitor Discount

First-time exhibitors receive a 25% discount off the booth price. Your company can qualify for this discount if you have never exhibited at an ACS National Exposition.

What are the exhibiting options?

Standard - Solely Under One Exhibiting Company

Exhibiting company selecting a 10’X10’ booth or island configuration that is solely under the name of that exhibiting company.

Booth Sharing Under One Company

Exhibiting company sharing exhibiting booth space, but would like to exhibit under one company name. The company is limited to a maximum of one sharing company for a 10X20 booth and a maximum of three sharing companies for island booths (20’ X 20’ or larger). At the time of booth reservation, the exhibiting company will assign a primary booth contact that will receive communications of important deadlines and one primary booth contact that will be able to access the Exhibitor Service Kit to submit ordering forms. The total booth fee will be split equally per company, unless otherwise requested during the booth reservation process. Each company will receive a separate contract under its company’s name, must abide by the show rules and regulations, and purchase the required liability insurance.

Booth Sharing Under Multiple Companies

Exhibiting company sharing exhibiting space; however, would like to be treated as separate companies. The company is limited to a maximum of one sharing company for a 10X20 booth and a maximum of three sharing companies for island booths (20’ X 20’ or larger). At the time of booth reservation, each company will assign a primary booth contact that will receive communications of important deadlines. However, one primary booth contact that will be able to access the Exhibitor Service Kit to submit ordering forms. In addition to the standard booth fees, a fee of $1,000 per additional company will be added to the booth fee for sharing exhibit space. This fee is necessary to accommodate the cost of supporting each individual company, rather than treating as an extension of one company. The total booth fee will be split equally per company, unless otherwise requested during the booth reservation process. Each company will receive a separate contract under its company’s name, must abide by the show rules and regulations, and purchase the required liability insurance.

Combined Nonprofit Row

Organizations can share exhibit space inside our Combined Nonprofit Row for the reduced fee of $1,200 per organization. This fee includes one 6-foot draped table, two padded chairs, one wastebasket, one 22” x 28” identification sign, and booth carpeting for the row. Organizations must provide or distribute information about their mission to exhibit and/or distribute to attendees, but they are not eligible to sell anything inside this booth. Organizations in this booth can choose whether to staff their display with their own personnel or to send unattended materials for display. Space is limited and is reserved for nonprofit organizations: incorporated tax-exempt organizations that exist for educational or charitable reasons to support science or advance the education or professional development of scientists. ACS Show Management reserves the right to review the application of each organization to verify eligibility for this area. This reduced fee cannot be applied to booth space outside this designated booth.

Small Chemical Businesses Row

Companies can share exhibit space inside our Small Chemical Businesses Row for the reduced fee of $1,200 per company. This fee includes one 6-foot draped table, two padded chairs, one wastebasket, one 22” x 28” identification sign, and booth carpeting for the row. Companies can choose whether to staff their display with their own personnel or to send unattended materials for display. Space is limited and is reserved for chemical businesses that employ 50 or less employees. ACS Show Management reserves the right to review the application of each company to verify eligibility for this area. This reduced fee cannot be applied to booth space outside this designated booth.
