Faculty Resource and Organizational Guide (FROG)

FROG is a complementary resource for instructors available on the companion web site. It includes complete instructions for carrying out “Investigate This” activities featured in the text, plus suggestions for alternatives, tips on how to use the activity in class discussion, pictures, and typical results. Also provided are extensive solutions (not just answers) to "Consider This" activities, "Check This" activities, and end-of-chapter problems.

This resource and all illustrations in Chemistry can be downloaded from the web and used in presentations. Instructors can also refer to the e-mail listserv to interact with other users of the text.

Molecular Model Kit

The Molecular Model Kit aids students with modeling activities emphasized in the text. The kit is also useful for students taking organic and biochemistry courses.

Online Personal Tutor

Students can use the online tutor to monitor their understanding of the text through diagnostic tests. The tutor provides test results and suggestions for study.

Online Laboratory Program

The online lab supports active and cooperative student learning. Students must work in teams to devise solutions to posed problems. Limited instructions are given to make each solution unique to the user.
