The ChemCom companion website contains interactive, multimedia materials for students and faculty. The site extends the text by reinforcing concepts through interactive exercises, visualization and other learning tools.
- Wraparound Teacher’s Edition
The Teacher's Edition offers point-of-use support for both new and experienced teachers, while providing instructional strategies for teaching students with different ability levels and learning styles. Includes material lists, procedures for preparation of the laboratory activities, background materials, supplemental activities, answers to problems, objectives for each unit, and explanations of how ChemCom addresses the National Science Standards.
- Teacher’s Resource CD-ROM
This CD is designed to help teachers create classroom presentations, enhance instructional time, build web sites, and develop other resources. Users can search and export content found in the Teacher's Resource Binder and other instructor materials in an electronic format. Users can also search and export all textbook images in JPEG format, animations, videos, tutorials, and other interactivities.
- Teacher’s Resource Binder
This new ancillary resource includes preliminary skill-building activities, classroom handouts, practice problems, lab procedures, lab worksheets, reading guides, variable pacing guides, and more! All resources in this binder may be copied for class distribution and other uses.
- Test Bank
Available in print or on CD, the test bank contains hundreds of multiple-choice and short-answer questions. The electronic version gives teachers the option of adding, editing, and sequencing questions.
- Color Transparencies
The transparency package is a valuable teaching tool for introducing, clarifying, or reviewing key topics and augmenting the classroom with cooperative visual learning techniques. It includes 100 high quality color transparencies of graphic organizers and figures from the text.

The interface allows students to search for specific topics, keywords, and terms. An auditory glossary facilitates pronunciation of words.
- Digital Talking Book
The Digital Talking Book is a powerful tool for students with reading difficulties, visual impairments or blindness, and for whom English is a second language. Students can enlarge text for reading or follow along as the text is read to them. Visually impaired students can convert the textbook to Braille.
