ACS Presidential Video Challenge

2009 Theme: “I Am Proud to be a Chemist”

We invite the ACS student chapters to finish the phrase “I am proud to be a chemist because…” using video, print, or other multimedia communication tool. Reach out to elementary, middle school, and high school students in your community. Help them develop an awareness of who chemists are and help them understand that if they really want to help save the planet, chemistry is the central science!

Your entry should feature real life chemists from your community, explaining what they do, how they improve people’s lives, and why they are proud to be chemists.

The top two entries will be awarded $1,500 from the ACS presidential succession. All award-winning entries will be spotlighted on the ACS website
