ChemTechLinks

ChemTechLinks is an ACS project to support technician education. Started with support from the National Science Foundation’s Advanced Technological Education program, the project provides tools to help educators develop a highly-skilled technical workforce by addressing nine critical issues: alliances, recruitment, national curriculum benchmarks and graduate skills assessment, technology updates, professional development, and community awareness.

Professional and Curriculum Development

Recruiting Students

In order to recruit students into a chemistry-based technology program, you need to be able to highlight the features and rewards of a chemical technology career. The ChemTechLinks career package is designed to encourage potential students to consider a career as a chemical technician.

A few elements of the package are provided below. To request the complete ChemTechLinks Career Package, email chemtechlinks@acs.org. Please specify whether you would like materials for laboratory technology, process technology, or both.
