Salutes to Excellence Nomination Procedures

• All nominations and supporting documents (newspaper clippings, letters of recommendation, etc.) must be received at least thirty (30) days before the date scheduled for the presentation of the award and may be sent to salutes@acs.org or faxed to 202-872-4353. Nominations received less than the 30-day processing requirement will be subjected to "rush delivery" charges, as applicable.
• Send copies (originals will not be returned) of newspaper clippings, letters of appreciation and other materials about the nominee's service or involvement.
• Separate nomination forms must be submitted for each individual or groups being nominated.
• Each Local Section, Technical Division, or Student Affiliates Chapter may request up to 5 award plaques per calendar year at no cost and within the 30-day nomination processing. Additional awards are available at cost of the plaque plus shipping. Any costs incurred for "rush delivery" requests will be billed to the section, division, or chapter.
• The review committee may request additional information to make their final decision of approval.
