Academic Employment Initiative (AEI)

The next AEI Poster Session will be held at the 240th ACS National Meeting in Boston, MA, on Monday, August 23, 2010, 8:00 – 10:00 pm.

Getting hired for an academic faculty position takes more than meeting the basic requirements. To assist graduate and postdoctoral students prepare for the hiring process, the Academic Employment Initiative (AEI) gives candidates an opportunity to present teaching and research goals to colleges and universities looking to fill faculty positions.

How to Participate

The deadline to submit an abstract for the 2010 Fall ACS National Meeting will be in early spring 2010.

Your poster presentation can include:

  • Past and/or current research
  • Future research plans
  • Teaching plans
  • Experience

If you’re hiring new faculty, we invite you to attend the AEI Poster Session at the 240th ACS National Meeting in Boston, MA, on Monday, August 23, 2010, 8:00 – 10:00 p.m.
