Scholarships
ACS sponsors scholarship programs for qualified applicants who want to enter the fields of chemistry, biochemistry, chemical engineering, chemical technology and teaching. The programs are designed to encourage diversity among applicants and to build an awareness of the value and rewards associated with careers in science and technology.
- ACS Scholars is designed to be a catalyst for African American, Hispanic/Latino and American Indian students seeking to pursue undergraduate college degrees in chemical sciences and chemical technology.
- Project SEED scholarships assist former SEED participants in their transition from high school to college. Students are eligible to receive up to $5,000.
- ACS-Hach Second Career Teacher Scholarships are awarded to working chemists with an interest pursuing a teaching career at the secondary and postsecondary level.
- ACS-Hach University Scholars are undergraduate students selected by our partner universities on the basis of their interest in and aptitude for teaching chemistry.
