All of the Society’s meetings are open scientific events and welcome all persons who are interested, pay the necessary registration fee, and otherwise conform to the Society’s Bylaws for its meetings. Personal letters of invitation are not necessary to attend ACS national meetings.
Each national meeting is announced to the scientific community through publication of the call for papers and the technical program inside the Society’s official publication, Chemical & Engineering News (C&EN). ACS does not provide financial support to meeting participants. Airfare, ground transportation, hotel, meals, travel insurance, and any other local expenses are the responsibility of each meeting participant.
If this is your first time attending an ACS national meeting & exposition, read through the Tips for a Successful Meeting to prepare yourself. Once the technical program is available the month before the meeting, the Personal Meeting Scheduler tool will allow you to search for the exact date, time and location of your presentation as well as other papers of interest.
