Payments for ACS National Expositions
2008 & 2009 Booth Fees
ACS will charge $2,100 per (10’x10’) space for the 2008 & 2009 expositions, with a $200 surcharge for corner booths. First-time exhibitors who have never exhibited at an ACS National Exposition will receive a 25% discount on their booth fees.
After you have made your booth selection, we will mail an invoice and two contracts for each exposition to your company's primary booth contact. One signed contract for each exposition must be returned to ACS to hold your booth reservation. Your booth space will not be considered final without receipt of the returned contract and booth payment within the specified deadlines, and you will not be able to set-up your booth without the stated requirements.
2008 & 2009 Payments & Cancellations
Any request to cancel or change your booth space after your initial space reservation must be put in writing and sent to ACS Expositions (fax: 202-872-4410; e-mail: expo@acs.org; or mail: American Chemical Society Expositions, 1155 Sixteenth Street NW, Washington DC 20036).
Payments and cancellations will be handled according to established ACS practices. These terms are specified on the rear of your booth space contract for each exposition.
Fall 2008 Exposition (Philadelphia, PA)
- For fall 2008 booth space reserved on or before May 5, 50% deposit is due within 30 days of date on contract and the balance is due on June 2.
- For fall 2008 booth space reserved after May 5, full payment is due at the time of booth reservation.
- For fall 2008 booth cancellations received on or before May 5, ACS shall refund the paid fee. For fall 2008 booth cancellations received after May 5, ACS shall retain 100% of the paid fee.
Spring 2009 Exposition (Salt Lake City, UT)
- For booth space reserved on or before December 5, 2008, full payment is due by January 5, 2009.
- For booth space reserved after December 5, 2008, full payment is due at the time of booth reservation.
- For cancellations received on or before December 5, 2008, ACS shall refund the entire paid rental fee. For cancellations after December 5, 2008, ACS shall retain 100% of the paid rental fee.
Fall 2009 Exposition (Washington, DC)
- For booth space reserved on or before January 5, 2009, full payment is due by February 9, 2009.
- For booth space reserved after January 5, 2009, full payment is due at the time of booth reservation.
- For cancellations received on or before February 9, 2009, ACS shall refund the entire paid rental fee. For cancellations received after February 9, 2009, ACS shall retain 100% of the paid rental fee.
