
ACS career workshops are designed to enhance the career development of chemists through presentations by peers.
Workshops are offered during ACS national meetings and selected regional meetings. Workshops can also be requested by local sections, colleges or universities.

The following video recordings were made during the Preparing for Life After Graduate School workshop at Princeton University, June 13-14, 2006.
The three-hour "Managing an Effective Job Search" (MEJS) workshop is provided at each ACS regional meeting, and upon request by local sections, colleges and universities. The MEJS workshop also provides one-on-one resume reviews and career assistance during the afternoon following the workshop.
MEJS consists of the following 1-hour core modules:
The MEJS workshop can be tailored to fit the needs of the requesting local section. The following modules are not available as stand-alone presentations but can be substituted for any of the core MEJS modules:

The Committee on Economic and Professional Affairs recognizes a need to maintain the commitment to offer quality programming to assist professionals in chemistry and chemical engineering as well as to control increasing costs. This fee structure represents a fraction of the total cost, and will allow development of new programs, quality assurance of existing programs, and continued fulfillment of all requests.
