This course covers mass spectrometry fundamentals as well as the latest developments in the field, with emphasis on biological and biochemical applications. Athula Attygalle is a Professor of Chemistry at the Stevens institute of Technology, Hoboken, New Jersey. He joined Stevens after serving ten years as the Director of the Mass Spectrometry Facility of Cornell University.
Researchers, technicians and others requiring the knowledge and skills of sample analysis by mass spectrometry. The course is intended for novices, as well as practicing mass spectrometrists who wish to learn the latest developments in the field.
A basic knowledge of organic and physical chemistry is required.
